This is probably one of the best movies that I have seen in a little while.  I thought that it was totally original and insightful.  It takes a totally different look at concentration camps and the story of a man who composed himself to help his child.  This movie won three academy awards and there is no doubt in my mind it was worth it.  The acting was outstanding.  Roberto Benigni won best actor for his portrayal of a man who falls in love and then gets taken to a concentration camp.  In the concentration camp he raises the spirits of his son to stop him from having the tragic experience and keep him naïve of the world outside.

I liked this movie.  Not so much for the story about a man who wants to get custody of his daughter but instead for the character that Sean Penn plays and the music in the movie.  Sean Penn character is very sensitive and at the same time very humorous, along with his many friends.  They all are very good at quoting movie scenes and Beatles facts.  I think that in your mind you think that the little girl should have someone else helping to take care of her but at the same time Penn touches your heart.  It is almost as if you yourself dont even know who to root for.

I thought that this was a pretty good movie.  It is about a guy who thinks he is Elvis or maybe he doesnt but he just does it for purpose.  They never really tell you for sure in the movie.  But his perception on life, though crazy to many helps a couple of people really straighten out theirs.  I think that fact that Harvey Keitel looks nothing like Elvis in real life or in the movie really adds to it.  If he was just some dressed up Elvis freak the role would not be so convincing.

A terrible movie about a family that cant seem to get along while they are trying to plan the burial of their father.  I just dont see many parts of this movie that are even worth talking about.  The only good that I can find in the movie is how sometimes relationships get bad and sometimes the littlest things about love can make them come back together.  But for the most part I would tell you not to waste your time watching this totally annoying movie.

I thought that this movie was weird but interesting the first two hours.  I was not really sure where it was going to go from there and I was trying to figure out how they were going to tie the movie into the beginning scenes.  When it started to rain frogs the movie sort of became clear.  It is a movie about how terrible things happen in this world and that you can make bad decisions, but all these things happen and the world keeps turning.  There are terrible things that happen in this world and dwelling on past events that are inevitable ruin lives.

I thought this movie was very good contrary to some of the things that I have heard from other critics. I thought that Kevin Spacey was the perfect person to play the role of Prot and Jeff Bridges does a great job as well. What I liked the most about this movie is that they leave it wide open for you to decide whether or not Prot is really from the planet K-PAX or if he is just a troubled human. I choose to believe that he is from another planet and that he chooses to take over a man's body to help others and that man.

I thought that this movie was a very light movie and Owen Wilson was really the comedy highlight. I think that this movie seems almost depressing at times and the sort of humor that it involves is somewhat strange. It just happens that I liked most of the humor in it even though I did not laugh out loud that much because of the mood of the movie. I thought that the ending was very good and it brought good conclusion to a movie that seemed as if it was going nowhere. Overall Rating: 8.4

I went into this movie hating almost all the actors and actresses in it. I found that this movie was excellent. I thought that it kept you entertained for the entire movie and even though it loses you at times it is amazing to see how this mad story ends up. It sort of reminds me of a Stanley Kubrick movie. I can understand why many people leave the theater dissapointed because the previews make it seem like a suspense thriller when I would say that is a very small and short part of this very creative story.

I just thought that this movie was totally boring.  I thought that they could have made it a little more of a strategic battle of Winston Churchill during WWII.  Instead I find that this is made more about the family life of Winston with no major events that really leave you in a desire to continue watching this movie.  A little more of Churchills effect on the people and a couple of really tragic events could have spiced things up a little.

I thought that this movie puts a good view on the first steps on the moon.  The movie as entertainment doesnt really have that much going on.  The movie is supposed to take place in Australia but nobody has an Australian accent.  I think that it could have had a little bit more trouble to make things a little more suspenseful, but that would have made it a little less historic.  I guess the best thing about this movie is that it makes you really understand how important those steps on the moon, which seem less significant now, really gripped the nation at the time of their occurrence.
