This movie was nothing spectacular. It had some really nice cars in it. Well actually they were just normal cars that were souped up. This was a movie about racing but they only actually raced a couple of times. The one guy being a cop is a good twist and you are never really sure who the person that is knocking off the tractor trailers is. This movie was okay and I didn't really like how it ended. The whole race scene towards the train really didn't make that much sense to me. Overall Rating: 6.3

I thought that this movie was much better than I thought that it was going to be. I thought that it was just going to be a non stop action movie with a very weak plot but I found out that it was entertaining. I think that I am still not certain exactly what the two sides are fighting for except for the fact that they are fighting and I don't certainly know why the senators role was included because it was not that important. There were many flaws but it still is a good balance of action and storyline. Overall Rating: 7.0

I thought that this movie was for the most part a little absurd. One of the things that I thought was absurd was that the kid talked like he was a 35 year old psychiatrist. Some of the language and insight that he used seemed almost unbelievable for a kid of his age. But for the most part this is just a movie about a guy who wants to be able to stay with his kid. It just adds a little bit of an arm wrestling action to tame the action appetites of many people. Overall Rating: 4.2

A movie with great acting by Samuel L. Jackson and kevin Spacey. It is about a guy who is framed for a scandal and he has to defend himself. It is good because it shows good vs. good where one of the goods is portrayed as bad. The movie is very realistic and leaves you wondering who is responsible and how things all fit together. Overall Rating: 9.0

I found this movie to be a great story of how to turn your life around by not buckling to peer pressure. It isn't until Derek is in jail that he escapes the peer pressure of society. This movie emphasizes the importance of doing well in school and living a good life wrapped into the violent depiction of a guys life viewed through the eyes of his brother. It shows how a boy grows by doing one assignment but can not be saved from the awful past that society led him to live. Overall Rating: 9.3
Goodfellas

I really liked this gangster movie. It was different then most of them because it actually showed the girls point of view. Also the main character was not a boss and it did not dwell on family problems too much. Also Henry did not draw out the movie with a long segment about drug addiction. It was exciting because many people got killed and you never know what was going to happen and if Henry was going to get killed. Overall Rating: 8.7
U.S. Marshals

US Marshalls is almost the same movie as the fugitive, it even has Tommy Lee Jones as the detective. The only real difference is that the man that set him up is working with Jones to catch him. He is trying to kill wesley snipes so he can not clear his name. Snipes also has a girl helping him.
This is a good movie but the same idea as the fugitive. It has a little more action and a little less strategy. Overall Rating: 7.7

I thought that this movie was very well made but the storyline is just not that original. I mean how many times have you seen a movie about a guy who loses something and vows to get revenge for it. And from a mile away you can see that the boy is his son. I also thought that it was bizarre that nobody ever heard about a man killing the warden and escaping from the prison. I mean you think that would get around. The fighting scenes could have been a lot better and he wanted to make these people suffer but they did not really suffer that much. Overall Rating: 7.0

This was not as good as the original Rocky. Rocky has his rematch with Apollo Creed and it just isn't as interesting as the rest of them. In this movie Apollo Creed becomes Rocky's rival. The movie just
doesn't have the flare of part one but is still a good movie but is sort fo a buffer between part 1 and part 3. Overall Rating: 6.9
